Allow Me To Dream

Less than six years ago, our vision became a reality when The Jewish Community Foundation of Central New York was established. As we reflect on this short period of time we take great pride in our accomplishments. The current assets total $4.5 million, after making grant distributions of $2.3 million. This totals close to $7 million donated to and under administration by the Foundation since our inception in October of 2001.

My response to those numbers is “pinch me!” This is a dream come true. But allow me to follow this dream even further. What could we be as a community with unlimited resources? What could more dollars do to impact our future Jewish community?

Come and dream along with me…

Dream…every child who wishes to is afforded a Day School education, a summer camp experience, a trip to Israel with
a peer group of their choice.

Dream…our teens are all given scholarships to the Hebrew High School and every family is afforded a membership in
our Jewish Community Center.

Dream…our senior program has unlimited funds to help with meals and social activities.

Dream…our synagogues each have generous endowments to ensure their fiscal viability and extra funds to enrich their programs.

Dream the sweetest one of all…our Federation’s annual campaign starting out from day one with many gifts and guaranteed contribution from our PACE Funds.

These are just dreams right now, but dreams can come true. Won't you join us in helping make these visions for our community reality! Let us continue to be linked together as we go L’Dor V Dor, from strength to strength.
