Permanent funds are the safekeeping our Jewish community needs to ensure its future.

 

Endowment funds can be restricted to benefit a single synagogue, agency or organization or can be part of the Foundation’s Unrestricted Endowment Fund for disbursement to meet the greatest future needs of our Jewish community.

 

Only the income of an endowment fund is disbursed annually; the principal is left intact and invested for growth. Permanent funds are the safekeeping our Jewish community needs to ensure its future.

Endowment funds may be established with a minimum gift of $10,000. These funds are invested for growth through the careful financial management of professionals and the oversight of the Board at the Jewish Community Foundation of CNY.
